Blanche Lassiter: Just a gal with a few “Novel Ideas”.

I’m a writer with big aspirations to grace the wall of bestsellers at the grocery store check out and every airport newsstand! Growing up in West Virginia long before scrolling & streaming, snagging the latest paperback was a weekly highlight. Danielle Steel and Stephen King were writing royalty and nothing inspired this novelist heart like the typewriter opening credits of Murder She Wrote!

Fast forward a few years and a few miles south to the Bull City, where my Real Life Tom Selleck and I now call home. Technology has taken over and instead of the typewriter I’m plugging away at the keyboard to finally get my imagination on the shelf. In the immortal words of another famous Blanche (Devereaux), “That is my destiny. I shall become a great Southern writer, carrying on the tradition of the other great Southern writers like… uh… all those others so famous they need not be mentioned.”

We do declare…
– to maintain an unmatched sense of humor, but being ugly to others will not be tolerated. So if you plan on hanging out here take Betty White’s advice “Get at least 8 hours of beauty sleep, 9 if you’re ugly!”
– to give credit where credit is due.  We will cite our sources & gladly identify that which inspires us.
– to keep it fresh. This site will not become an ancient ruin, abandoned and forgotten. If you are like us, you look forward to the next chapter and hate when a show is cancelled on a cliffhanger! New features will be posted weekly and randomness daily(ish) here or on our socials.
– to only endorse or actively advertise products and services that we use, or are passionate about. Additional passive advertisements may appear based on your own personal interests and cookies.
– to keep the libations flowing & the good times rolling! So as Trisha Yearwood so perfectly put it, “If you’re not fun, you don’t get to stay. If it’s not a REAL JOY, then why do it?”

Cheers!
